Love this! Three huge lessons that sometimes don't present themselves until you notice that confronting and addressing things head on would've been the way to avoid resentment, misunderstandings, feeling unseen, etc. The second one, telling people you've changed, is tricky. The delivery of that feels like a mastery of boundaries especially when it comes to communicating that with family. Thank you so much for sharing these!
Sara, do you use any discretion when you ask for help. Because even though sometimes our refusal to ask is about our own insecurities, it can also sometimes be a well earned discretion, as people become burnt out or resentful or defensive no matter how we ask for the things that, we may want in that moment?

Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts!! None of this is as easy as it seems, but I do think it's life changing :)
Absolutely!
A simple enough algorithm to live by. Lessons about life are best acknowledged if they are simple, and repeatable.
Agreed!
You Can't Outrun Your Problems -> I experienced this yesterday. The more I try to run, the harder they come back, ten times stronger.
Yessss! This is so (unfortunately) true.
