Some emotions have gotten a bad reputation, and I am here to set the record straight: There is nothing wrong with being angry. 

What is making you mad right now?

  • The person who is not responding to your text?

  • Someone being late?

  • A promotion that went to someone who deserved it less?

  • A joke that hurt your feelings?

  • Someone not washing their dishes?

  • Not being included on an important call?

  • The injustice and hate in the world?

If your anger could speak, what would it say? 

Anger is a messenger and an important one. Anger points us to a trigger, wound, or insecurity. It is meant to point to the source of pain or threat, giving us the needed information to protect ourselves. 

As humans, we often get angry when:

  1. We feel threatened (emotionally, physically, spiritually, financially, etc.)
