There is a famous quote attributed to Blaise Pascal – mathematician, physicist, inventor, philosopher, and writer – that states: "All of humanity's problems stem from man's inability to sit quietly in a room alone." I see this all the time. People are constantly staying busy in order to avoid their inner world (a scary space for many of us). But due to this lack of reflection, we are more likely to live a misinformed, inauthentic, and unfullfilling existence.
