Well, I am writing this letter about three weeks after I recorded the audio which is attached below. And reflecting back, I was tiiiirreeed. And, the truth it, a lot of us are tired.
Tired, not just because life is hard or demanding at times, but also tired because we feel resistance to the life we are living. We don’t want it, we didn’t choose it, or we don’t feel like we own it.
The thing about being tired is that it’s a physical representation of being alive. It means that we are using life (and that’s what it’s here for!). That’s a good feeling. And yet, being used by life is not a good feeling. The difference is the role of our agency. I would argue that the type of exhaustion we experience depends on the level of agency we perceive. Here is what I mean.
